After already turning down one offer from the Saudi Pro League, Liverpool star Thiago’s resolve is set to be tested again.

The Athletic’s James Pearce reveals that after rejecting one lucrative proposal, fresh and serious interest has emerged for the 32-year-old.

Liverpool themselves have received no bids for Thiago as yet, with all offers being made directly to his entourage.

But as things stand, the player’s intention is to see out the final year of his contract at Anfield, although it is unclear if that standpoint will remain in view of the latest attempt at luring him away.

The Reds currently plan to count on Thiago for one last season before allowing him to depart on a free next summer.

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have already arrived to boost their midfield options, while Roméo Lavia is also under consideration.
