The Misfits Boxing middleweight title is on the line at The Prime Card with Slim defending his belt against Salt Papi. Both these content creators are rare examples of cross-over boxers who have shown some boxing acumen (Slim more so), so their fight could actually be pleasing on the eye. Slim is 6-0 on this scene with good reach and solid jab. Salt Papi is 3-1 who fights above weight and has a good left hook, but little else.

Salt Papi vs. Slim live play-by-play Round 1
Rafael Ramos is the ref. Papi coming forward southpaw. Slim cicrling to his right. They clinch and punch on the break. Papi jabs, Slim hugs Slim tries to jab to the body. Another hug. Papi opens up with a flurry. Bullies Slim into the corner. They hug and break. Another hug and mug and break. Slim jabs from outside, Papi to the body. Slim hugs. Some arm punches exchanged. Papi lands 2 straight lefts on 3 thrown. Papi going for a headlock…break. They hug and Papi is dirty boxing. Round ends. 10-9 on my card.
Round 2
Already hugging and mugging. Slim trying to jab to the body but Papi able to get inside most of them. Papi likes to grab and throw lefts. They trade in close. Both fighters eating some shots. Papi with some head movement. Papi grabbing behind the head and pumping lefts before Ramos breaks them. Left to Slim’s body. Papi landing hard shots. Slim willing to fight on the inside but getting outstruck. Needs to keep it at range. More hugging. Ref warns both fighters for holding. Papi has some swelling on the face. Papi ripping Slim against the ropes. Jab from Slim as they move back to the center. Another 10-9 for Papi. 20-18
Round 3
Papi gets caught coming in but manages to hug and throw that dirty left. Slim coming forward behind combos but Papi more than answering back. Papi landing way more shots. Papi might have hurt Slim with a clean left. Papi grabbing behind the head, more mugging. Break. Slow telegraphed jab from Slim. Papi comes in and lands. Slim trying to fight Papi on the inside. Bad idea. Papi backing him up but gets caught by Slim. Again! Two hard rights from Slim. More hugging. Break. Papi cracks Slim’s head back with a right. Both fighters tiring. Slim holding the ropes with Papi pinned inside. Break. They get inside range again and are trading punches. 10-10 round. 30-28 on my card.
Round 4
Papi drops his gloves and taunts Slim. Big mistake. Slim catches Papi with a big right and another! Papi might be hurt. His corner imploring him to keep his hands up. Slim pouring it on. Papi nods he’s ok but not convicing. Slim ripping shots while Papi is backed into the ropes. Slim finally landing the jab at distance. Papi landing some lefts. Hugging. Break. Slim landing the harder shots in combos. Mixing body and head shots. Papi grabbing behind the head. Slim connects! Again! He drops Papi! Standing 8 count. Papi back in there. Slim is firing away at a seemingly shot Papi. More big connections and Ramos waves it off! Slim wins by TKO!
