Sad Cowboys couple go viral in Dallas’ loss to Cardinals
Cowboys #Cowboys
Cowboys fans had plenty to be sad about during their team’s 38-10 loss to the Cardinals on “Monday Night Football.”
Simply put, Kliff Kingsbury, Kyler Murray and Arizona ran Dallas out of AT&T Stadium. Quarterback Andy Dalton didn’t look like a viable long-term replacement for Dak Prescott, completing 34 of 54 passes for 266 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed 12 times for 49 yards and fumbled on consecutive possessions. And the defense, already one of the worst in the NFL, looked hapless as the Cardinals ran up 438 total yards.
If you only had a single image to summarize Cowboys fans’ feelings about the loss, well, it would probably look like this:

That brief clip — coupled with the thrashing Dallas was receiving off camera — was more than enough to go viral as NFL fans watched America’s Team get throttled. It’s safe to say the sad Cowboys fan captured in the above video represents a lot of fans as well (but, hey, at least he has a supportive girlfriend).
The clip sparked tons of responses on Twitter in the game’s closing moments. After all, it was more entertaining than most of the “MNF” game — unless you’re a Cardinals fan, of course.
