Sacramento City Unified may bring back mask mandates amid high COVID-19 rates

For the third year in a row, COVID-19 cases are expected to rise. This may lead certain agencies and entities, such as the Sacramento City Unified School District, to possibly bring back indoor mask mandates. The school district’s consideration of reinstating COVID-era policies follows the release of data last Thursday from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which showed the spread of COVID-19 in Sacramento County moved from a low level to medium last week.
