Raging Jamie Redknapp was left furious by Roy Keane during an explosive debate before Tottenham faced Burnley.
The ex-Spurs star made the case for his former team and talked up a squad jam-packed with internationals.
But Manchester United hero Keane was having none of it and let rip at Redknapp and his insistence of talking up a side facing an uphill battle to finish in the top four.
Rangers legend Graeme Souness was caught in the middle as the debate raged between the pair ahead of kick-off in North London.
It started with Keane who said: “Definitely their goalkeeper and two centre-halves are better than what Spurs have got, and probably even the two lads in midfield.
Redknapp couldn’t believe what he was hearing though, and countered: “I don’t think it’s an average team or an average squad, it’s full of internationals.

Keane said: “Playing for your country doesn’t make you a good player.”
The two should over each other, before Keane added: “Jamie makes the point about international players – these days everybody plays for their country! If you don’t play for your country now you are a bad player.”
Keane asked: “Is that why Real Madrid let him go? Why did Real Madrid let him go?”
Redknapp was getting angry and said: “Does that matter? Just because Real Madrid let him go that doesn’t make him a good player? He’s a fantastic left-back!”
Keane eventually admitted Reguillon was a good player before Redknapp jumped in: “very good.”
Keane went back to his initial point and said: “Spurs could win today two or three nil and afterwards we’d be praising them.

“Tottenham have got so many average players. We talk about the pressure Spurs are under to get in the top four but if you take Kane and Son out of that team they are average.”

“I think the goalkeeper’s not good enough, I don’t trust Aurier or Doherty. But Reguilon is as good a left-back as there is in the country so I think you’ve got that wrong…”

Eventually presenter David Jones brought proceedings to a halt by saying:
“We’ve got to go, unfortunately. I’m a bit disappointed that we’ve actually got to watch some football, because I’m enjoying this conversation.”
