Saturday: Wokingham Stakes, Royal Ascot
Rohaan became the first horse this century to record back-to-back successes in the Wokingham Stakes, scoring under Ryan Moore.
The David Evans-trained four-year-old was given a patient ride and burst through a small gap between runners to deny Popmaster. Jumby was third ahead of 28-1 shot Mr Wagyu and Summerghand.
“He obviously really enjoys coming to Ascot,” said Moore. “David has done a magnificent job with this horse. He tested him over the last few months but he’s going well now. The track is important to him.”
