Rockies vs. Braves Prediction and Odds for Wednesday, August 31 (Keep Trusting Kyle Wright)

Kyle Wright #KyleWright

Another day, another favorable matchup for the Atlanta Braves at home against the Colorado Rockies.

Colorado’s road struggles this season are well-documented, and things won’t get much better with Ryan Feltner (2-5, 5.87 ERA) on the mound against Kyle Wright (16-5, 2.99 ERA).

Wright has been money for the Braves this season, and whenever you get this Atlanta lineup against a poor pitching team, runs are going to come pretty easily.

The Braves are making a run for the NL East division, and a win on Wednesday will be huge. Here are the odds from WynnBET:

The Braves are 18-6 in Wright’s 24 starts this season, so this should be a runaway victory for Atlanta, especially given Feltner’s recent struggles.

Feltner has a 6.29 ERA this month, allowing 27 hits in 24.1 innings while the Rockies have gone just 2-3 in his five August starts.

I don’t mind a play on the Braves’ team total, but I also like them on the run line in this game. The Rockies simply can’t win games on the road, entering this series with a 19-42 record away from Coors Field.

Atlanta has covered the run line in five of Wright’s last six starts, and he’s been shutting teams down outside of a six-run blowup against the New York Mets.
