Roberto Firmino Scores Spectacular Equalizer Against Aston Villa On Final Anfield Appearance For Liverpool
Anfield #Anfield
Roberto Firmino marked his final Anfield appearance for Liverpool by scoring an 89th-minute goal against Aston Villa on Saturday.
The popular Brazilian, who will leave Liverpool when his contract expires next month, was given a standing ovation when he entered the action as a 72nd-minute substitute.
Firmino had Liverpool supporters on their feet again after finding the net with a flying volley following a cross from Mo Salah.
That spectacular strike leveled the game at 1-1 after Jacob Ramsey had earlier fired Villa in front.
Firmino has now scored 110 goals in 361 games for the Reds.
