Jerami Grant led the Blazers with eight points in the quarter and Malcolm Brogdon scored seven.
Providing a huge boost was Scoot Henderson who handed out six assists after registering just one in the first half. Several came on fast breaks, where the Blazers tallied 14 points.

Second quarter: Raptors 50, Blazers 47
The Blazers began the second quarter with a 9-0 run to go up 30-25. But the Raptors recovered to win the quarter 26-25 and enter halftime with a three-point lead.
Shaedon Sharpe leads the Blazers with 10 points in the half. Scoot Henderson scored six points in the second quarter to reach eight for the half. He is 4 of 8 from the field but 0 of 3 on threes.
Toronto is just 3 of 16 on threes (18.8%) but has scored 30 points in the paint compared to 20 for the Blazers who are 7 of 19 on threes (36.8%).
Pascal Siakam leads the Raptors with 12 points. Dennis Schroder has six points and six assists. OG Anunoby, listed as questionable before the game, scored 10 points in the first half.

The Raptors scored 20 of their 25 points in the paint while shooting 48% from the field. The Blazers shot 40% but hit on 5 of 11 threes. If not for seven turnovers, Portland might be leading.

The Portland Trail Blazers will be without backup center Robert Williams III Monday night when they play at the Toronto Raptors.
The Blazers will rest Williams after playing the first of a back to back Sunday night at Philadelphia where they lost 126-98.
The Blazers will try to avoid matching their worst start to a season since 1986-87 when they started out 0-4. That team finished 49-33. The Blazers also began the 1982-83 season at 0-4 and finished 46-36. They did the same to start the 1975-76 season and finished 37-45.
The last time the Blazers began a season 0-3 was at the start of the 2007-08 season. That team responded by winning four straight games and finished the season 41-41.
