Reus 3-6 Barça: Huge win

Barca #Barca

After the extraordinary game in the WSE Champions League against Barcelos midweek, the Barça roller hockey team collected another massive win on Sunday. It was in the OK Liga Clásico away to Reus, the first of the return half of the competition, and Edu Castro’s side thoroughly impressed with six goals from Xavi Barroso, Pau Bargalló (x2), Ignacio Alabart, Sergi Panadero and João Rodrigues.

The three points mean that the team not only stay top of the league table, but they are also still unbeaten this season.

Not that this was an easy win, and was never likely to be against Reus, who actually scored first after 3 minutes, and although Barça scored twice before half-time to take a lead of their own, the game was still wide open

It was after the restart that Barça found the accelerator, and after 36 minutes, their 4-1 lead looked as good as definitive. And although Arnau Canal did pull one back from the home side, there was no coming back for them from there, especially after Sergi Panadero had re-established the three-point gap.

Next up is Voltregà, that one back at the Palau Blaugrana.
