Report: Lakers, Warriors showing interest in Sixers’ Shake Milton
Lakers #Lakers
With free agency in the NBA set to open at 6 p.m. EDT on Friday, the Philadelphia 76ers have to figure out what to do with James Harden. The Beard has opted into his contract for the 2023-24 season and is looking for a trade rather than opting out and entering free agency.
While the Sixers figure that out, other free agents need to be taken care of. One is Shake Milton, a reliable scorer off the bench and a leader for the second unit.

There are teams who are interested in Milton per Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports, including the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors:
Former Sixers guard Shake Milton has drawn the eye of several Western Conference contenders, including the Lakers and Warriors, according to league personnel.
Milton averaged 8.4 points, 3.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 37.8% from deep in the 2022-23 season. He stepped up big time in November when he averaged 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while shooting 41% from deep. He had to start seven games that month due to injuries to Harden and Tyrese Maxey in the backcourt.
Considering the Harden situation, maybe the Sixers consider bringing Milton back. Either way, it will be interesting to see how everything works out for Philadelphia in free agency.
