Renshaw to share Selway stories on Feb. 24

KOOSKIA — Are you interested in how things used to be and what life was like in the Idaho backcountry years ago? Listen to longtime Kooskia resident Jim Renshaw share stories of his life in the Selway backcountry. The Friends of the Kooskia Community Library are hosting this event on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Kooskia Community Center.
As a two-month-old, in 1932, Renshaw traveled with his family deep into the Selway River country. Renshaw will share stories of adventures in the mountains and give a glimpse of what life was like before modern conveniences. The library will be open from noon until 2:30 p.m. for kids to do crafts while parents are in the presentation. Refreshments will be provided.
