There’s no denying that Saltburn has taken over our hearts and minds (and timelines) since its release in 2023 — including the final scene with a naked, dancing Barry Keoghan. And that was no different for this week’s Saturday Night Live promo featuring musical guest Reneé Rapp and host Jacob Elordi.

In a video posted to the late-night sketch show’s social media pages, Rapp is shown alongside SNL cast member and comedian Bowen Yang dancing through the studios to the recently viral song, “Murder on the Dancefloor.” Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 2002 hit has gained a second life thanks to the Emerald Fennell-directed film that stars Elordi and Keoghan and has sparked reenactments of the movie’s end scene.

Instead of a sprawling mansion that oozes old money, Rapp and Yang take their dance moves through Studio 8H, giving their best Keoghan impression — but with clothes on. The two seem to be having the time of their lives, with Rapp wearing flared cream-colored pants with pointed heels, a black corset top, and an oversized black blazer.

Once they strut their stuff into the studio, a stoic-faced Jacob Elordi is shown sitting in one of the audience chairs, slowly clapping for their performance. Whether he’s pleased with the reenactment, or disturbed — given what happens to his Saltburn character — remains to be seen.

Jacob Elordi and Reneé Rapp are both making their Saturday Night Live debut this weekend, after both coming off of big moments in their careers. Elordi starred in two major blockbusters, including playing Elvis Presley in the Sofia Coppola-directed Priscilla, along with the aforementioned Saltburn, where he plays a wealthy college student who brings home a mysterious loner (Barry Keoghan) to his sprawling family estate for the summer. The film became a hit and has since inspired countless memes, videos, and even a candle that’s scented like Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater. ICYMI: the bathtub scene in Saltburn is… quite something.

Reneé Rapp has also been making her rounds in the press while promoting the 2024 movie-musical installment of Mean Girls. Rapp plays the HBIC, Regina George in the film — reprising her role from the Broadway musical. The film has already performed well at the box office since its debut on January 12.
