FCT, Abuja – Bashir El-Rufai has lampooned Peter Obi, the Labour Party flagbearer in the 2023 presidential poll, after the Supreme Court upheld the election victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, October 26.

The son of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, took to his page to tackle the Obi over his controversial “yes Daddy call” with Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel.
Reacting immediately after the Supreme Court dismissed Obi’s petition and affirmed Tinubu as the duly elected president of Nigeria, Bashir in a post sighted by Legit.ng on his X page (formerly Twitter) said “the war is over”.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that political critic and public affairs commentator, Reno Omokri has reacted to the judgment of the Supreme Court affirming the victory of President Tinubu.
Omokri said Peter Obi can never become Nigeria’s president.
He stated this immediately after the apex court gave its final verdict on the 2023 presidential election.
Oyedepo breaks silence after alleged discussion with Obi
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Oyedepo debunked the claim of having a conversation with Peter Obi, over canvassing votes from Kwara state ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Oyedepo, while speaking in his church on Sunday, April 2, said he has never campaigned for any politician in any election across the country.
In the leaked conversation, Peter Obi was allegedly soliciting the support of Oyedepo to help get votes from Christians in the SouthWest region of the country and Kwara state, the cleric’s home state.
