EDMONTON, AB – Two days after securing the NHL’s First Star of the Week, Oilers captain Connor McDavid has collected the same honour for the entire month of February.
McDavid led all players with 23 points in 11 games last month, including nine goals and 14 assists. He recorded at least one point in 10 of the 11 games he played in February.
The 26-year-old finished the month with four consecutive games scoring two goals and heads into March on a seven-game point streak with eight goals and 10 assists in that span.
McDavid currently leads the NHL in goals (50), assists (65), points (115), power-play points (54) and points per game (1.89), and also has a career-best three shorthanded tallies.
