Red Sox’s Matt Strahm: Sustains wrist bruise

Strahm was removed from Tuesday’s game at Tampa Bay with a bruised left wrist, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Strahm allowed both batters he faced to reach via hits, the second of which struck him in the left wrist. He proceeded to make a bad situation worse by delivering an errant throw to first base for an error. Per Cotillo, the left-hander is scheduled to undergo X-rays.
