The Baltimore Ravens hosted AFC North rival Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 7 on Sunday. One player who typically lines up as a tight end found himself under center during a play that the Ravens needed to move the chains.
With just under 14 minutes to play in the fourth quarter, Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews lined up at center on a fourth-and-one just passed midfield. Andrews pitched the football to quarterback Lamar Jackson, who took it for a first down and then some.
Andrews has been utilized at multiple positions. Aside from his ability to catch and block as a tight end, he has also lined up as a running back, receiver, and under center. Andrews has become one of the ultimate playmaking weapons on the team, and is regarded as one of the best pass catchers in the NFL.
