Rangers pundit fumes at Amad Diallo after Man United source’s reveal

Man United won’t sell Amad Diallo until next year after Rangers-supporting pundit left fuming.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Ibrox defender Alan Hutton suggested Diallo should go out on loan for another season before United make a final decision on whether to sell.
The 21-year-old’s current contract runs until 2025 but he has spent the last two season on loan at Ibrox and Sunderland.
Diallo has been involved in pre-season with the first team after retuning from his spell at the Championship club.
On 9 July, Football Insider revealed that the Red Devils will make a decision on the youngster’s future in the coming weeks.
It is believed manager Erik ten Hag will have the final say on whether Diallo will be part of his squad for the upcoming campaign or whether he will be sent on another loan.
Hutton suggested another temporary move is the best decision.
“It is a funny situation and one that sometimes annoys me as a Rangers fan,” he told Football Insider.
“Knowing that we had him and he did not get anywhere near what he has shown just last season.
“The penny drops at different times and things at Sunderland obviously just clicked for him.
“I think coming into a team like Man United on a big transfer fee at such a young age can hinder you slightly.
“Rangers are a big football club as well so it may have been difficult for him. We are seeing signs of him improving and seeing what he is capable of.
“Man United might be willing to take another year to see how he improves again. I am sure Ten Hag will be looking at him in pre-season as well.
“Probably looking at a loan for another season after which they might look to sell on.“
