RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – One of the top high school basketball stars in North Carolina was presented with his jersey for the 2024 McDonald’s All-American Game.
Jayden Quaintance, a 6-foot-9 forward out of Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh, celebrated along with his teammates on Monday at a McDonald’s near the school.
Local McDonald’s owners held the event to commemorate Quaintance’s invite to the all-star basketball game, which annually showcases the best high school players in the country. He’s one of only 24 players to make the roster out of 1,500 athletes nationwide.
