Raiders select OT Alex Leatherwood with the No. 17 pick in the 2021 NFL draft

The Las Vegas Raiders have made their selection. With the No. 17 pick in the 2021 NFL draft, the Raiders have picked offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood.

Of course, Leatherwood went to Alabama, a school the Raiders know very well. He is expected to play right tackle for the Raiders as a rookie.

Leatherwood has a bunch of snaps at left tackle and guard and the Raiders will love his length and athleticism. He is a multi-year starter who is a plug-and-play starter.

The Raiders will be on the clock again in the second round at pick No. 48, barring a trade-up.
