Erling Haaland gave City the lead with a powerful header in the second half which saw him jumped on by a fan, making up for his penalty miss in the first half.
City went close to netting a second but Haaland was ruled offside after netting and Julian Alvarez could not beat Wes Foderingham from a free-kick.
As a result in the closing stages, the Blades sensed that they could get something from the game.
And former Blades player Walker’s error allowed them the perfect opportunity.
Walker tried to backheel the ball but instead gave it away and then slipped over off of the pitch.
He could only lie and watch as the hosts played the ball around before Jayden Bogle eventually fired home.
As Walker saw his error be punished he lashed out at the advertising board behind him as he booted it.
And fans could not help but find the moment funny as he helped out his old team as they took to social media.

Walker was in the youth academy at Sheffield United before leaving in 2009 after sealing a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
