Ryan, meanwhile, left Quadrant in 2021 having spent a decade at the firm.
Eady joined Quadrant in 2008 and was a key player in the firm’s exits from auto parts company Burson, Australian taps and water systems company Zip and Canberra Data Centres. Woodbridge, meanwhile, joined in 2022 from KKR, where he was a managing director. At KKR, Woodbridge led the firm’s investments in GenesisCare, Laser Clinics Australia and Australian Venue Co, and served on their respective boards. He was also involved in KKR’s buyout of Arnott’s and Arrowtex Pharmaceuticals.
Despite the departure, investors are likely to focus on Quadrant’s track record, which is one of the best in the business. It’s been consistently named as one of the top buyout funds globally – as judged by industry data provider Prequin – and has had little trouble raising funds in recent years. Existing investors include big Australian managers like the Future Fund, TelstraSuper and Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation.
