‘Pull your finger out’ Dan Walker issues warning to BBC bosses after Carol blunder

“Come on John,” Dan hit out and Louise added: “We all need you John.”

“Pull your finger out John!” Dan exclaimed. “Look at the time she’s been on air for an hour. Unbelievable.”

“Poor John,” Louise added before continuing on with the show’s headlines. 

Later in the show, Dan asked: “Let’s find out if John’s sorted out Carol’s technical problems.”

“Good morning [John] has turned up. Good on you John, good job,” she replied before sharing a weather update.
