Everton’s prospective new owners got more than they bargained for after seeing the Toffees go 2-0 down against Luton.
Josh Wander and Steven Pasko, the co-founders of 777 Partners, were in attendance for the Premier League clash with the newly-promoted Hatters as a prospective takeover moves closer.

The American investment firm have agreed to purchase the Toffees from Farhad Moshiri, subject to the deal being approved.
But as Wander and Pasko looked at the potential task, they realised how much work there is to do after Tom Lockyer gave Rob Edwards’ side a shock lead.
The goal came via a set piece as Jordan Pickford pulled off a stunning stop to deny the initial header, before Luton’s skipper slid in and found the top corner of the net.
Things then got even worse as Carlton Morris doubled their lead with a cool finish, giving the play-off winners a 2-0 lead shortly after the half-hour mark.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin did, however, claw one back to make it 2-1 before half-time, despite a lengthy consultation with VAR.
Everton currently sit just above the relegation zone, meaning that the 777 Partners could be in for a rocky road should their takeover go through.
