Princess Peach: Showtime Trailer Features Costumes Galore

More details about the previously teased Princess Peach game surfaced during todays Nintendo Direct, including that it will be titled Princess Peach: Showtime. The game will feature multiple costumes with unique abilities for Peach to change into and is now set to launch on March 22, 2024.
The trailer shows off several of the available outfits for peach, including Detective Peach, Patissier Peach, Kung Fu Peach, and a musketeer-inspired Swordfighter Peach. Each has their own abilities, from cutting vines with a sword to jumping across platforms or baking cakes. Peach will be using these powers to fight off Grape and the Sour Bunch as they attempt to take over several events like a theatre show, museum exhibition and sweets festival. The main mechanics appear to feature puzzles and light combat with the game using an array of camera angles to make the stages stand out.

Other games announced at the Direct include a Spy X Family game and a remake of Super Mario RPG.
Princess Peach: Showtime will launch for Nintendo Switch on March 22, 2024. Her last major, solo adventure was Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS, which released back in 2005.
