Princess Peach Is Finally Getting What She Deserves

A newly announced game in the Super Mario franchise will be coming to the Nintendo Switch next year, and Princess Peach will finally get to take her place in the spotlight in the new 3D-style world. Previously Peach starred in a Nintendo DS game Super Princess Peach which played as a traditional Mario platformer experience where the tables were turned and she had to rescue Mario and Luigi for once.
The yet-untitled game was announced at a Nintendo Direct event on Nintendo of America’s official YouTube channel, although little information has been given beyond a quick sneak peek. The recent The Super Mario Bros. movie portrayed Peach as a competent character, deserving of her own title, which could be a foreshadowing of what to expect in this upcoming game.
