Princess Charlotte was all smiles for her sixth birthday.

A new photo of the young royal, the middle child of Prince William and Duchess Kate, was released Saturday for Charlotte’s sixth birthday, on May 2.

The photo of a smiling Charlotte was taken by her mom, Duchess Kate, this weekend in Norfolk, England, where the Cambridges have a country home, Anmer Hall, according to Kensington Palace.

Charlotte’s sixth birthday comes just a few days after Prince William and Kate celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.

The couple celebrated publicly by sharing a home movie showing Charlotte playing with her siblings, Prince George, 7, and Prince Louis, 3, outside in Norfolk.

The video featured the family of five running amid trees, hiking near a beach and toasting marshmallows by a campfire.

The Cambridges have made it a tradition to release a new photo of each child on their birthday. The photos are often taken by Duchess Kate, an avid photographer.

Kate snapped a photo of Prince Louis on a bicycle that was released in April for his third birthday, as well as the photo of Prince George that was released last year for his seventh birthday.

Charlotte, who attends Thomas’s Battersea School in London with George, has become known for her big personality in front of cameras.
