Price Of Cocaine Jumps In Australia Due To Exiled Gang Member’s ‘Mafia-Style’ Tax

The price of cocaine has jumped in New South Wales and police believe something more sinister is to blame than ‘natural market forces’.

Depending on where you live, you could fork out as little as $200-250 for a bag of the white stuff.

However, NSW cops reckon the average price has jumped thanks to a ‘mafia-style’ system that’s being run by a bikie gang member in Dubai.

The Daily Telegraph reports Mark Buddle, head of the Comanchero Outlaw Motor cycle gang, fled to the UEA and is now at the head of an illicit group that is overseeing the importation of drugs.

The new underground illegal taskforce is called the Commission and they enforces rules around importing cocaine into Sydney.

The group is reportedly made up of several high ranking Comanchero associates and a member of a high-profile Sydney crime family.

The Commission demands a tax of up to $50,000 on every single kilogram imported into Sydney, which is expected to drive up the price of coke in the city as well as around Australia.

A senior NSW cop told News Corp: “In the last few months coke has risen in price from $250 a gram to more than $300 depending on the quality.

“It could be natural market forces but we suspect it could also have something to do with Buddle’s tax.”

Buddle has reportedly complained there is ‘no structure, no rules, no reasoning’ and ‘no sense’ in regards to ensuring drug prices stay the same.

Importers have to reach out to the Commission whenever they are planning to bring in cocaine. Once that contact is established, these importers will be told how much tax they have to pay to keep the peace.

Daily Telegraph reporter Mark Morri’s contact at NSW Police has revealed what happens when someone tries to circumvent this new rule of law.

Assaults and kidnappings have already reportedly been carried out for those offenders.

The police contact told News Corp: “There is no doubt this will escalate to murder. It’s the bikie way to use violence in all their criminal enterprises.

“And there is going to be real problems from this. There are obvious groups who will not want to pay which will lead to conflict which invariably leads to bloodshed in this world.”

So, if you buy cocaine in Sydney or other places around Australia, you can expect to pay more.
