Post Malone is celebrating his sweet 16.
The 25-year-old rapper snagged a whopping 16 Billboard Music Award nominations on Tuesday, more than any other musical act, reported Billboard.
The impressive tally was three more than “Old Town Road” singer Lil Nas X, who received 13.
Malone is up for the Top Artist prize against heavy hitters Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Khalid and the Jonas Brothers.
Malone, Lil Nas X and Khalid will be competing against DaBaby and Ed Sheeran for the Top Male Artist prize while Eilish, Swift, Ariana Grande, Lizzo and Halsey will battle it out for Top Female Artist.
One of the most intriguing slates of nominees is for Top R&B Album, which is dominated by superstars. Beyoncé (“Homecoming: The Live Album”), Justin Bieber (“Changes”), Chris Brown (“Indigo”), Khalid (“Free Spirit”) and “Over It” by Summer Walker are all in contention.
Other categories featuring Malone are Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Rap Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for “Hollywood’s Bleeding.”
The album has generated four Top 10 hits, including the chart-topper “Circles.”
Dominating the Christian music categories is presidential hopeful Kanye West, who is up for nine awards. His “Jesus Is King” album is nominated in the top Christian album category while four of its tracks are up for top gospel song, including “Follow God” and “Closed on Sunday.”
The awards show, hosted by Kelly Clarkson for the third consecutive year, will air Oct. 14 on NBC.
