If you’ve driven on Route 31 through Farmingdale at any point in the last half-century, you’ve probably seen a whole lot of hubcaps for sale on the side of the road, along with sculptures made from hubcaps.
It’s the Hub Cap Farm, a cherished New Jersey roadside attraction immortalized in song by Bruce Springsteen and a destination for anyone needing a spare hub cap for generations.
On today’s “Brian’s Positively New Jersey,” Brian Donohue stops at the farm to talk with owner Frank Valentino about how his father started the place and what his plans are for it in the post-hub cap era.
