Portland Trail Blazers’ guard Damian Lillard to sit out today’s scrimmage vs. Toronto Raptors with foot injury
Blazers #Blazers
Portland Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts announced today that guard Damian Lillard will not play in today’s scrimmage against Toronto because of inflammation along the bottom of his foot.
X-rays of Lillard’s foot were negative, Stotts said.
Gary Trent Jr. will start in Lillard’s place. The rest of the starting lineup will include CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, Carmelo Anthony and Hassan Whiteside, who did not play in the team’s first scrimmage on Thursday because of injuries to his calf and Achilles.
Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. Follow here for live updates.
