Porsche Stolen After Thieves Enter Home, Take Keys In Wall

WALL, NJ — A Porsche stolen from the driveway of a Wall home after thieves broke into the house to get the keys has been recovered, police here say.

On Sunday morning, suspects went to a residence off Atlantic Avenue near Ramshorn Drive in Wall and targeted a newer model Porsche that was locked in the driveway.

The suspects then entered the house through an open window, took the keys to the car and left with the Porsche. They left behind a 2015 Hyundai that was stolen out of Irvington, police said.

The Porsche has been located and recovered in Brooklyn, police said. Capt. Chad Clark said the car is being processed for evidence, but it will shortly be returned to the owner.

Police urged residents to keep homes locked, as well as cars, and to report suspicious activity to police.
