Player of the Week: Nikita Kucherov

Nikita Kucherov played the role of facilitator last week, dishing out a team-high seven assists as the Bolts won all three of their games. 

Kucherov began the week with back-to-back three-assist games in victories over the Kraken and Blue Jackets in Tampa.

His lone goal of the week came in Saturday’s 5-1 win in Montreal that extended the Lightning’s winning streak to five games. Kucherov was able to get around Joel Edmundson at the right circle and slip the puck past Jake Allen in tight for an insurance tally late in the third period. 

Prior to play on Monday, Kucherov’s 35 assists lead the League and his 47 points are the fourth-most.
