LORRAINE Kelly believes Piers Morgan WILL return to Good Morning Britain — saying she has “no doubt” he’ll present the show again.
Piers was famously forced out of breakfast TV for refusing to apologise to his ex-pal Meghan Markle.

But ever since his dramatic exit, ratings have plummeted – and panicked bosses are trying to win him back.
Despite just three months passing since he quit the programme, his ITV colleague Lorraine has likened him to a Whack-A-Mole, teasing: “Watch this space.”
In an exclusive interview with The Sun as she backed Booking.com’s #RivalsReUnited campaign, 61-year-old Lorraine said: “I know nothing, but never count him out of anything.
“What’s that game where you bash things and they keep coming back? That’s him.

“He will be back in some shape or form, I have no doubt.
“He’s still doing Life Stories and all of that. He’s tweeting his a** off and writing his columns.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back. Nothing would surprise me about Piers.”
But it would be a massive U-turn for the channel that demanded Piers, 56, apologise for dismissing Meghan’s claims of feeling suicidal.

His view was that Meghan repeatedly lied during a bombshell TV interview with Oprah Winfrey to smear the Royal Family.
It later transpired that Prince Harry’s wife, 39, had contacted ITV boss Carolyn McCall and complained to broadcasting watchdog, Ofcom.
As viewers turned off in their droves, Piers told The Sun ITV had been in contact about a comeback.
“They reached out,” revealed Piers.
There have been approaches. Never say never.”
Despite being off-screen for now, outspoken Piers has refused to be silenced.
He continues to furiously hit back at the “woke brigade” in a passionate defence of free speech to his near 8m Twitter followers.
If anything he’s been spouting his opinions even louder since getting the boot by ITV as adoring fans beg for his return.

“He’s been very quiet, has Piers. I’ve not heard a peep from him since,” joked Lorraine.
“I have a lot of time for him.
“He’s very kind to me. He goes crazy when I say this – he doesn’t like me doing it – but he’s actually a really nice guy.
“He says to me ‘will you stop saying that I’m a nice person because it’s very bad for my brand’. That makes me want to do it even more!”

Lorraine has worked in television for more than 35 years.
Alongside being the queen of breakfast television, Lorraine has just launched a podcast called What If? with her daughter Rosie.
And she often shared a laugh with Piers on Good Morning Britain ahead of kicking off her own Lorraine show from 9am.
Rosie, 26, said that when she was at secondary school male pals made it ‘very clear’ to her that they had romantic feelings towards mum Lorraine.

Revealing what he’s really like off-camera, Lorraine added: “I’ve seen him give people advice, whether it’s career advice or whatever, and the good thing about him is he treats everyone the same.”He’s not a diva type.
“He would be equally as rude to the Prime Minister as anyone else. But saying that he’s equally as nice to all of the crew.”
But despite Lorraine’s clear fondness for her pal Piers, nothing gets her more excited to chat about than her love of football.

Tonight as part of Booking.com’s campaign #RivalsReUnited, Lorraine is heading to Wembley to watch England v Scotland with Spice Girls’ Melanie C, Towie star Mark Wright and Sea Shanty singer Nathan Evans.
The campaign aims to bring opposing fans together after research showed that six in ten English fans (62 per cent) and Scottish fans (62 per cent) say football fans are rivals on the pitch but friends off of it.
Proud Scot Lorraine told us: “We’ve got great spirit.
“Coming out of work I saw loads of guys in London with their kilts on, it’s like a party.
“Of course there’s always going to be a bit of rivalry, but at the end of the day we can all go out for a drink with each other, it’s all fine. It’s just great to see a game of football.
“People are just excited that they’ve been able to travel and watch the match with each other.
“Getting to talk to people – that’s where football brings you get together because the vast majority love the game.
“I wasn’t even sure if this tournament would go ahead or not. We need to make sure we’re very careful and responsible and if we do that then we can go on to enjoy more things like this.”

According to the Booking.com stats, 86 per cent of Scotland supporters feel so passionately about today’s match, that beating England would be as emotional for them as winning the whole tournament.
“It would be very emotional,” added Lorraine.
“It’d actually be the most Scottish thing in the world if we drew or beat England and then we get beat by Croatia and we got out, having beaten in England!”
