Piers Morgan calls out Jeremy Corbyn’s brother over Hamas-Israel war comments after fiery interview with the former UK Labour leader

Corbyn #Corbyn

Piers Morgan has pointed to comments made by Jeremy Corbyn’s brother on the Israel-Hamas war following his explosive interview with the former UK labour leader on Tuesday.

During a fiery debate on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Mr Corbyn joined the Sky News Australia host to discuss the unfolding Hamas-Israel war following the horrific attacks on October 7.

But tension quickly escalated when Morgan asked Mr Corbyn “15 times” if he believed Hamas was a terrorist organisation as he refused to provide a straight answer.

A day later, Mr Corbyn’s brother Piers has come out with his own explosive claims.

The Campaign Against Antisemitism account on X, formerly known as Twitter, posted an interview with Piers Corbyn who claimed the October 7 attacks where a “false flag operation” by the Israeli government.

“The Israeli government wanted to allow it to happen…it was a false flag operation,” he said in the video.

“That operation, on that day, was agreed by Israel at its highest level because they let in these soldiers. They knew the soldiers were going to kill people.

“There were also fake stories about baby beheadings which didn’t happen.

“This thing they did on the 7th October was clearly something which they’d been tricked into or paid to do.”

Morgan was quick to re-share the video on his X account, slamming the comments made by Mr Corbyn’s brother as “disgusting anti-Semitism.”

“My God. After Jeremy Corbyn refused to call Hamas a terror group, his brother says Oct7 was a ‘false flag’ operation planned by the Israeli Govt,” Morgan wrote.

In Tuesday’s interview, Morgan fired up at Mr Corbyn for failing to state whether Hamas was a terrorist group after he was asked the question more than a dozen times.

“Can you call them (Hamas) a terrorist group?” Morgan questioned.

Mr Corbyn responded by saying: “Is it possible to have a rational discussion with you?”

“No it’s my show, you answer my question … are Hamas a terrorist group … answer the question,” Morgan continued to shout.

“I’ve asked you two questions: Should Hamas stay in power and are they a terror group?

“You’re refusing to answer either of them – that is very telling … and you wonder why people think you had a problem with Jewish people.”

Mr Corbyn was fired up at this point, slamming Morgan for his “inability to keep quiet for 30 seconds to allow anybody to answer a question.”

Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate as world leaders differ on calls for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.

Israel has confirmed it is “carrying out a precise and targeted operation” against Hamas inside Gaza’s largest hospital.

Israel’s Defence Forces said in a post on X about 2am on Wednesday (local time) that troops were in an area of al-Shifa Hospital “based on intelligence”.

“The IDF is conducting a ground operation in Gaza to defeat Hamas and rescue our hostages. Israel is at war with Hamas, not with the civilians in Gaza,” it said.

It did not provide further details, but flagged the force, which included medical teams and Arabic speakers, were prepared for a “complex and sensitive environment”.

“In recent weeks, the IDF has publicly warned time and again that Hamas’ continued military use of the Shifa hospital jeopardizes its protected status under international law, and enabled ample time to stop this unlawful abuse of the hospital,” the IDF said.

“Yesterday, the IDF conveyed to the relevant authorities in Gaza once again that all military activities within the hospital must cease within 12 hours.

“Unfortunately, they did not. The IDF has also facilitated wide-scale evacuations of the hospital and maintained regular dialogue with hospital authorities.”

The force also called for “all Hamas terrorists present in the hospital to surrender”.
