He said the aim for July 19 is to have two thirds of the adult population double jabbed.

“It is unmistakably clear the vaccines are working and the sheer scale of the vaccine roll-out has made our position incomparably better than in previous waves,” he continued.

The Prime Minister added that while he was confident there would be no more delays, he couldn’t guarantee it.
