Pi Day freebies: Pie, pizza and more deals for 3/14 today

Happy Pi Day! Today (Thursday) is March 14, also known as 3/14, so it’s Pi Day — a math-inspired pseudo holiday named after the irrational number.

What is Pi? If it’s been a while since you studied geometry, you may have forgotten that Pi is a mathematical constant with its own symbol (π). It is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, or approximately 3.14159; the number actually has infinite decimals, but it is often shortened (or rounded off) to 3.14. Hence, 3/14 is “Pi Day.”

To celebrate, a bunch of restaurants and businesses are offering free pie, pizza and other deals for National Pi Day:

7-Eleven, Speedway: Get a large pizza for $3.14 at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations with a 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards membership. Limit one per transaction, two per day.

Blaze Pizza: Get an 11-inch pizza for $3.14 on Pi Day at participating Blaze Pizza locations all day, only in stores.

Burger King: Get a free Hershey’s Sunday Pie with any purchase of $3.14 or more if you’re a Royal Perks member.

DiGiorno: Between March 14 and April 11, an online “Pizza Rescue Program” is offering digital coupons for Digiorno’s Pizza to anyone who gets bad takeout pizza and uploads a photo of it to DiGiornoPizzaRescue.com.

DoorDash: Get 50% off any pizza through DoorDash with a purchase of $3.14 or more at participating Godfather’s Pizza and Giordano’s locations between March 14—16 using the code PIDAY2024.

Keebler: The popular cookie and snack brand is offering “some sweet pie prizes” to 314 fans who like their Pi Day post on Instagram and tag a friend with the hashtag #KeeblerPieDayEntry by March 14.

Little Caesars: Save $3.14 on any one pizza ordered online from Little Caesars’ app and website.

Marie Callender’s: Visit mariecallenders.com to get $3.14 off select frozen dessert pies ordered online from Amazon Fresh, Kroger and Walmart.

Papa John’s: Get the Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust pizza for $13.99 on Pi Day.

Pizza Hut: Get a one-topping large pizza free with the purchase of another large menu-priced pizza at participating Pizza Hut locations on Pi Day.

Taco Bell: Get a Mexican Pizza at Taco Bell or $3.14 on Pi Day; limit one per customer.

Tombstone: According to USA Today, Tombstone is celebrating Pi Day and the upcoming National Beer Day (April 7) with an online contest at voodooranger.com for a chance to win a Tombstone pizza and a four-pack of the new I(Pizza)A, a limited-edition pizza-flavored beer from Tombstone and New Belgium Voodoo Ranger.
