Photos: Among Houston celebs, Lizzo wins Halloween with two costumes

Halloween #Halloween

Lizzo is Houston’s Halloween queen.

Though we’re likely to see more costumes through tonight, the Houston-raised singer, who recently had a joyous onstage homecoming, takes the crown with a pair of creative looks. First, she went full-on as Marge Simpson. Blue hair, yellow skin, green dress and red accessories.

Then Sunday night, she showed a second costume as Woo Wop, the “emo” kid who threatened to kill his mom, dad and grandma to a room of shocked adults. The video went viral last month and is a prank from the DuB Family YouTube channel.

Other Houston celebrities who dressed up include singer Josh Levi, who earns high marks for creativity as Calvin Cambridge (played by Bow Wow) from the film “Like Mike.”

Levi also went the simple-but-effective route as Batman.

Megan Thee Stallion hosted her annual Hottieween party over the weekend, and we’ll likely be seeing multiple costumes soon. Earlier this month, she uploaded a casual photo as a witch.

Olympic icon Simone Biles and boyfriend Jonathan Owens from the Houston Texans went the couple costume route as a flame and a firefighter, respectively.

And then there’s the case of the two Velmas, the brainy “Scooby Doo” sidekick.
