I refuse to stop marveling at Patrick Mahomes’ unique physical abilities. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback completed a deep pass for a touchdown that only he could make happen.
During the Chiefs’ Week 2 matchup against the Chargers in Los Angeles on Sunday, Mahomes escaped the rush in the pocket, and took off to his right. At that same moment, receiver Tyreek Hill was streaking downfield on the right third of the field. Even with a Charger rushing at Mahomes, he managed to flick a pass deep downfield to his speedster, Hill, who made a diving catch. And because he was never touched down, he was able to somersault his way into the end zone for a touchdown.
