Patrick Mahomes injured after being tackled by T.J. Edwards in Super Bowl

The Kansas City Chiefs’ big question was Mahomes’ sprained ankle would hold up in the Super Bowl.
It wasn’t an issue when Mahomes scrambled early in the first quarter.
But with 1:44 left in the first half, Mahomes tried scrambling on a 3rd-and-15. Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards wrapped him up around the ankles, and Mahomes writhed on the ground in pain.
He slowly got up and hobbled to the sideline, in pain. Mahomes was then walking gingerly on the sideline as backup Chad Henne warmed up on the sideline. If the Chiefs get the ball back before halftime, it’s possible that Henne will be the QB.
