For Patrick Bamford the return to the Premier League continues to be golden. Forgotten is the player who had only scored once at this level before this season began.
Instead, the Leeds centre forward moved onto 100 career goals. Revenge does not seem a prime motivation but there will have been added satisfaction that he reached such a moment in his career against a side where it had stumbled.
