Patrice Evra stirs up rivalry with Manchester City fan Liam Gallagher by ruthlessly mocking former Oasis frontman after Champions League final defeat… with ex-United star …

Patrice Evra has once again ruthlessly mocked Manchester City’s Champions League final defeat – but this time targeted Oasis star Liam Gallagher, a notorious Sky Blues supporter, in a hilarious video.
Crooning along to hit song Wonderwall, Evra, dressed up with a wig and a signature pair of sunglasses to imitate the classic style of the rocker, opted to change the lyrics to reference City’s pain in Porto.
With the song blaring out in the background, former United full back Evra unleashed the comical swipe by urging Liam to ‘stop saying Manchester is blue’, as he has ‘more trophies than your entire club’.

Two days on from City losing to Chelsea, Evra has kept up the social media onslaught and began his latest offering with his usual dose of laughter.
Taking revenge after Liam ribbed Evra following United’s Europa League final collapse last Wednesday, the comical Frenchman told the singer-songwriter ‘now it’s your turn’, and urged him not to be ‘jealous’.
Then, halfway through the clip, Evra broke into his own special rendition of one of the band’s most popular tracks.

‘I said maybe,’ Evra sang. ‘You’re going to win it when I’m 90. And after all, you’re my noisy neighbour.’
In his usual style, he then finishes the video by loudly proclaiming: ‘I love this game!’
Liam, who was at the Estadio do Dragao for the showpiece, is yet to respond to the sensational dig. The 48-year-old was spotted becoming increasingly animated in the stands as City crept closer to disappointment.
His brother Noel was also present at the ground – although the two are not on speaking terms as a result of their rocky relationship.

Evra and Liam had shared a brief exchange over social media last October, when the former predicted that City will ‘never’ win the Champions League.
Liam, also a former member of Beady Eye, posted a tweet that read ‘Patrice Evra c’mon you know’, which then prompted the funny reply from the footballer, who did admit to ‘respecting’ his music.
This is the second time in quick succession that Evra has savaged City. Just a matter of hours after the final whistle in Portugal, he posted a photoshopped image of him and Sir Bobby Charlton to ‘check for’ his rivals’ name on the trophy.

The photo was originally Jimmy Ryan sat looking at the famous gong, but instead Evra plastered his face over the top to great amusement.
Former Monaco man Evra captioned his post: ‘Sir Bobby can you check for City’s name again? Nope, still not here Pat… I love this game.’
Evra, who made 379 appearances for United in total, won the Champions League in 2008, but found himself on the losing side in the final twice against Barcelona, in Rome in 2009 and at Wembley two years on.
