Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

No.

Now we’d like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

I know that Derby is having financial issues and even though the Treasurer doesn’t do lot with the finances but the Treasurer should be presenting the Aldermen and Alderwoman that includes checks being paid and checks coming into the City. There has been no report for at least 2 years. I am very organized and would love the opportunity to show Derby what I can do to help out.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

1.9 million dollar deficit. And I intend to help get Derby City Hall organized and start doing the things the voters need and want, and to do it the correct way. I want to a show them that by voting for me I will do the job the elected me to do.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am a fresh new person for the post. I am just hoping they will trust and give me the opportunity to show them what I can do.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

I know there are reports that need to be presented to the Board of Aldermen and Alderwoman yearly and no such reporting as been done in at least 2 years.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I like to see community come together. If that means to having more things for the citizens to do. I would like to look into that see what can we bring to Derby for the Derby residence.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My work ethic. In what ever job I have ever had, I showed up and did my job. My coworkers can speak to that. I have always given any job I had my 200%.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Treat people how you want to be treated.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am hoping that the voters give me a chance to show them what I can do.
