Passing clouds, breezy and mild 60s Sunday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Good Sunday morning.  Fair skies overnight have allowed temperatures to fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s, areas of frost will be expected for most locations this morning. 

Early sunshine is in the forecast for the early part of the day and temperatures will warm quickly into the 50s by lunchtime.  More clouds will gradually push in for the afternoon hours with breezy southerly winds boosting high temperatures into the middle 60s.  Skies stay partly cloudy overnight with low temperatures staying mild in the upper 40s to lower 50s to start the work and school week.  Next week is going to start off on a warmer note with temperatures back in the lower 70s for Monday and Tuesday, high fire danger will be expected.  Isolated showers are possible late Tuesday along with increasing humidity levels. 

Wednesday will be our next weathermaker with the potential of heavy rainfall and possibly a few stronger thunderstorms, keep checking back for the latest forecast.  Right now, it looks like a line of thunderstorms will track in from the northwest Wednesday afternoon and can potentially produce some strong, gusty winds.  Temperatures will fall quickly behind the line of storms into Thursday morning with lows starting off in the low to middle 30s. 

Thursday should be mostly cloudy and much cooler with high temperatures remaining in the low to middle 50s.  Friday will bring another chance at scattered showers with below average high temperatures in the middle 50s.
