‘Particular concern’ for three Sydney LGAs amid COVID clusters

New South Wales Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant says there are three local government areas of particular concern after the state recorded 27 new cases of COVID-19. Dr Chant said these include “the area of the Fairfield local government area” with “some overlap and egress into Liverpool and Canterbury-Bankstown local government areas”. “So if you are in those local government government areas of Fairfield, Liverpool and Canterbury-Bankstown, please stay at home. ” She said people living in these areas should “re-double” their efforts and try to limit their movements by all means necessary. “Do not visit loved ones. Try and engage through digital means. Try and avoid any unnecessary contact with other additional households and please limit your movements into any indoor environments.”
