The Packers are expected to have original round picks in all seven rounds, plus potentially three compensatory draft picks for losing players in free agency last March. The draft is scheduled to begin on April 29. Ready for mock draft season? Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com mocked Louisville receiver Tutu Atwell to the Packers in his first mock draft of 2021.
The 2022 season ended and the 2023 offseason began for the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday night. The Detroit Lions’ 20-16 win over the Packers in the season finale officially eliminated Matt LaFleur’s team from the playoffs and sent the Seattle Seahawks to the playoffs as the No. 7 seed.
While another offseason of Aaron Rodgers speculation is here, the Packers now know their position in the first round of the 2023 draft.
By finishing 8-9 overall, the Packers will hold the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 2023 draft. Both the Packers and New England Patriots finished 8-9, but the Packers had the better strength of schedule.
