Packers vs. Texans score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, TV channel, streaming info for Week 7 matchup
Texans #Texans
The Green Bay Packers needed a bounce-back game after a tough loss last week, and Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams have capitalized against one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. Adams has over 100 yards receiving in the first half as Rodgers has tossed three touchdown passes in leading Green Bay to a 21-0 halftime lead over the Houston Texans.
Green Bay has scored on three of its five offensive possessions, netting over 250 total yards in the first half. Rodgers completed three touchdown passes to three different receivers — Adams, Jace Sternberger, and Malik Taylor. Sternberger and Taylor caught their first career NFL touchdowns. The Packers have never lost back-to-back games in head coach Matt LaFleur’s two seasons and appear to be well on their way toward keeping that streak alive.
Houston had an opportunity to score late in the first half. After a 16-yard completion to Brandon Cooks, the Texans were called for a holding penalty that backed them out of the red zone. Ka’imi Fairbairn missed a 41-yard field goal attempt that would have put Houston on the board.
