The Green Bay Packers likely saw their 2022 playoff hopes die during a demoralizing primetime loss to the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night at Lambeau Field.

The loss is the Packers’ sixth in seven games and drops Matt LaFleur’s team to 4-7 after 11 games.

It will take nothing short of an unbelievable 6-0 finish to clean up the mess the Packers have created.

On Thursday night, the Packers defense gave up 408 total yards and 27 points to Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry and the Titans, while Aaron Rodgers  and the offense failed on four-straight possessions to end the contest, including back-to-back turnover on downs in the fourth quarter.

The Titans took a 7-0 lead, led 14-6 at halftime and at one point scored three straight touchdowns.

Tannehill completed 22 of 27 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns, Henry threw a touchdown pass and turned 30 total touches into 132 yards, rookie Treylon Burks had 111 receiving yards and Austin Hooper caught two scores.

The Packers gave up seven third-down conversions, didn’t score off Rasul Douglas’ interception and rushed for just 56 yards on 19 attempts.

The Titans had more first downs, ran more plays, had more total yards, more passing yards, more rushing yards, more tackles for losses, more red-zone trips, more time of possession and fewer penalties.

The Packers go to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Sunday night next week.
