Pacers vs. Celtics: Marcus Smart gets technical in exchange with Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton and Marcus Smart had contact and words for each other in the third quarter Thursday night.

Boston’s Smart and Indiana’s Haliburton bumped a couple of times as Haliburton picked up a foul in the lane. The pair exchanged words and were separated. On the ensuing play, Haliburton blocked Smart’s 3-pointer.

Moments later, Smart drove into Haliburton and scored, and stared down the Pacers guard while flexing. Smart got a technical foul for that move. He pleaded his case to the referees, to no avail.
