Videos from the event are circulating on social media

A Belfast restaurant has been criticised after X-rated videos from a Valentine’s dinner show, revealing nude male dancers and female patrons mimicking sexual acts, circulated on social media.

Footage from The Devenish Complex restaurant and bar’s Pleasure Boys XXL show has been shared across Facebook and X, formerly Twitter.

Clips of the performance show dancers involved in the show fully nude and dancing with attendees.

Other videos show the male dancers mimicking sexual acts with some women in the audience.

The evening, which cost £15 a ticket, was advertised as a ‘Valentine’s Weekend Special’ in a post by The Devenish last month, with the establishment calling it “a night filled with exciting thrills, perfect for a girls night out.”

Location: Devenish Complex in Belfast

Social media users expressed their dismay with the bar and restaurant, which is located in Finaghy, underneath the original post highlighting the event.

“Disgraceful. After seeing the videos if that’s the (Devenish) have scraped the bottom of the barrel calling it entertainment,” wrote one user.

Another called the evening “absolutely disgusting” and said that in their opinion “the place should be closed down after this”.

Some wrote they were “disappointed in the bar” for allowing the night to take place, while the act was described as “degrading and humiliating” by one X user.

However, many users on social media defended the bar and the show – with some enquiring when the next Pleasure Boys XXL evening will take place.

The Devenish has been contacted for comment.
